Favorite Urban Decay Shimmery Eyeshadows Review and Swatches

There are a limited number of eyeshadows in this world I'll buy singles of. Urban Decay in particular just has to come up with the best eyeshadow colors and formulas that I can't seem to get enough of. I've shown a lot of love to these and am excited to share them with you :) 

POLYESTER BRIDE

This first one here is an all time favorite. I'm quite pasty normally so it's hard for me to find a highlight color that actually highlights. I'm sure you'll all looking at that swatch thinking I'm crazy, but I promise it's not actually that opaque if you just dab a bit in the corner of your eyes (which looks absolutely lovely imo). This also goes so well down the nose or across your cheekbones.

 MIDNIGHT COWBOY RIDES AGAIN

For all of you girls and guys who are a bit more normal skinned than I am, I highly highly suggest this shadow. I'm actually pretty tan this summer so I've been using this like none other. It's a beautiful shimmery shade with lots of fallout (but it's worth it). I remember talking to a girl who exclaimed, "IS THAT MIDNIGHT COWBOY RIDES AGAIN BY URBAN DECAY?!" Yup... it actually happened. 

BORDELLO

Guys.. I am OBSESSED with this shadow. I bought this one on a whim since I had a Macy's giftcard and ended up loving it more than almost any other shadow I own. It's the most perfect pink plum that doesn't make your eyes look swollen like many other pinks tend to do. This is the shade I've gotten most compliments from and at one point I remember making a point to use it every day. So yes. Love love love <3

ROCK

This shade actually just came with the custom case. I didn't think I'd love it, but it's a surprisingly nice versatile shade. It looks great on the lid, but I personally find it perfect for my under eye. I don't like lining my lower lid with dark shadows or liners so this one is my go to! Plus, it coincidentally matches the other shades in my palette with its plum undertones :D

ROCKSTAR

Finally, we have Rockstar! A deep purple plum shadow that's amazing for those nights out. I probably used this the least just because I don't like making my shadows too dark. And when I do, I use a matte shade. I got this one with a giftcard as well and decided I needed to spice up my colors.. or well at least the sales lady said I had to (darn you convincing associates -shakes fist-).
